Biography

Harry Tanfield

Harry Tanfield (born 17 November 1994) is a British cyclist. He won a Silver medal in the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Men's Individual Time Trial.

From the north-east of England, he rides for the Canyon Eisberg team.

At the 2018 National Track Championships he won Bronze in men's team pursuit. At the 2018 British Cycling National Men's & Women's Omnium Championships he won Silver in the men's omnium.

On 3 May 2018 he won the opening stage of the 2018 Tour de Yorkshire road race, from Beverley to Doncaster. In August 2018 it was announced that Tanfield would step up to the UCI WorldTour for 2019, signing a two-year contract with Team Katusha–Alpecin.
